D.K. Barton

D.K. Barton is a wife, Christian, teacher, and mother of 11 children. She graduated with honors from Towson University in Towson, Maryland earning her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Eduation. She later went on to complete her Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. For 25 years, she has been teaching reading and writing to children at both the elementary and middle school levels. Her passion for writing and desire to motivate young readers through the mystery and adventure genre has lead to the construction of her book series "Missing: The Adventures of Detective Amber Rose." It is her hope to reach the most reluctant reader and to create a spark that will ignite and develop a new passion for reading.
