I have always loved books, especially by Jane Austin and Charles Dickens. Of the modern writers, I seek out those who write books with a historical background. History intrigues me and I am fascinated by the lives of ordinary people in challenging times.

At present, I am learning to write screenplays, based on the books. It is challenging, but as I am retired I have the time. I once heard, that being old is doing more and more things for the last time, and fewer things for the first time. So this is a new thing.
