Andrew Lark was born in and grew up on Detroit's east side. He lived in Rüsselsheim, Germany in the 80s during a four year stint in the Army. He came back home to Detroit, attended college on the GI Bill and got his Bachelor's Degree in English from Wayne State University. Andrew is the recipient of the Heck-Rabi Award for Playwrights for his play, "Stop Up Your Ears!". Another play, "Ask Me! Tell Me!" was professionally produced at the Ringwald Theater's Gay Play Series in Ferndale, Michigan, and also the Hudson Theater's Play by Play Festival of One Act Plays in Hudson, New York. "Better Boxed and Forgotten" is Andrew's first novel. His novella, "Pollen" appears in "Postcards From The Future - A Triptych On Humanity's End." This trilogy of dystopian tales is a collaboration between authors, Donald Levin and Wendy Sura Thomson. One day he'll finish the sequel to "Better Boxed and Forgotten."
