Donna G. Hendricks

Donna G. Hendricks (1946- ) Over the years she has been a Girl Scout, a wife, a mom, a paste up artist and typesetter, a family and children caseworker, and an elementary art teacher. Donna is married to John Hendricks. Her first book was We're Combing the Beaches And Doing Projects which was basically about beaches of rivers, creeks, lakes, wetlands, or oceans. In Donna's second book, The Cabin at Girly Creek, she tells about the rustic cabin that she and John helped build and all the details of how they did it. She takes you into the woods with her, showing you the birds, wildflowers, etc. and telling about the time she was chased through the woods, turning to defend herself with a shovel! Donna and John reside in Evansville, IN.
