"His Name is Joe", is co-authored by Mimi and Chloe Mathis. Chloe is age 12. Her twin sister, Frances, and their 9-year-old brother, Simon, did the illustrations. The story is about a boy in 3rd grade who uses a wheelchair. What happens in the book is part of the magic in Joe's story. Not the kind of magic that needs an enchanted wand, but a special type of magic that everyone has inside of them to make someone's wish come true. The co-author and illustrators are Mimi's grandchildren. All copyrights for "His Name is Joe" have been donated to the Sunshine School and Development Center, a school for children with disabilities.
