I attended San Jose State University (a long time ago!), where I studied Theatre and Fine Arts. My schooling didn’t come till after a tour in Vietnam and few years of wandering the country so my sense of education was more to the point... after learning what I wanted, I left to put it to use.
I worked in the entertainment industry as an Art Director and a Challenge Writer (designing games), working shows like American Gladiator and Survivor. In an industry with ebbs and flows, to keep my hands & head busy in between paid gigs, I set up a sculpting studio that I kept for a number of years.
This sense of cross-platform creating is woven throughout my life. As a former Art Director and sculptor, now turned writer and painter, I believe ALL art is simply storytelling, so why not dance with a variety of partners.
Prelude To A Prophecy is my first novel, but it won’t be my last book I write since the process stirred me. In addition the writing, my painting can be seen at Grazarts.
I’m a native Virginian who currently lives in Los Angeles.
