D. L. Lawrence

I am an author of children's stories from South Wales, UK. I was told, a very long time ago, to keep the best, discard the rest. I started to write when I was 21 and now, at 70, these stories of elves and fairies are the very best.

My inspiration has come from the places I've been and the people I have met throughout my travels. I have found reading and writing these stories has provided a wonderful refuge away from the rat-race and I hope others will enjoy the little worlds I have created.

When I was in school I remember my reports used to say "doesn't concentrate, too much imagination" but it is that imagination that has seen me to where I am today.
