Dr. B Waites Austell writes faith-filled stories and devotionals that inspire both children and adults to grow in their relationship with Christ. Her stories blend faith, hope, humor, and heart while encouraging readers to recognize God's presence, embrace their purpose, and keep moving forward through life's challenges.

She is the author of more than a dozen books and journals, including the children's stories Mom and Dad Are Firefighters, Mom Fights Forest Fires, and Catching Faith: Listening to Jesus. She coauthored Living the Breakthrough: 33-Day Interactive Devotional with her husband, Steve, and is the creator of the Sleuth Steve Mysteries, a lighthearted Christian cozy mystery series filled with curious clues, memorable animals, inviting food, and the warmth of community.

As the founder of Simply B You®, Dr. B. helps people create with purpose and pursue balanced, meaningful lives grounded in Christ. She holds a doctorate in Life Coaching and Counseling and is a board-credentialed Christian Life Coach whose work focuses on faith, resilience, emotional restoration, and energy management.

She lives in Tennessee with her husband, Steve, and their much-loved and delightfully dramatic-tuxedo cats, Zeke and Zoe.
