Marguerite Simmons Klimkowski
Marguerite Simmons Klimkowski was raised in New York though her family history dates back to 1621 when the ship, the FORTUNE arrived in Plymouth just in time to celebrate the first Thanksgiving with other pilgrims. Moyses Symonson was a young boy when he stepped onto this new land. Then in the 1800's, Marguerite's grandfather , Frank Ensign Simmons, relocated his family from Scituate, Massachusetts to Manhattan where he was a member of the New York Produce Exchange.
She spent summers on white sand beaches reading books obtained on weekly trolley car trips to the local library. Her love of reading led to her love of writing. She has created a world where fish recover their lost ability to speak, stolen dogs communicate with each other, in order to find homes, and bullies learn that bullying doesn't pay! Raising five children and eventually being blessed with sixteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren has provided a wealth of story ideas. After retiring from the practice of law, the author returned to her love of creative writing
which was her first love from childhood. Her latest book, SPIRITUAL SPIRALS, focuses on spiritual belief and life through a series of reflective poems.
