CALLING

I consider it a privilege and an honor to be Founder and President of In His Grip Golf and know that I am a blessed man to combine two of my passions in God and golf. In 1998 I became a U.S.G.T.F. (United States Golf Teaching Federation) certified golf teaching professional and thoroughly enjoy helping golfers take their game and life to a higher level.

In 1998, I hosted our first In His Grip Invitational golf tournament and knew that this was a mission that I wanted to be involved in for the rest of my life.

EXPERIENCE

I have hosted over 250 IHG golf tournaments since 1998 and have learned from many failures as well as the successes. Experience is a great teacher of applying best practices which has led to our current In His Grip model for local churches.

RESOURCES

I have authored the Master Your Short Game and Master The Course DVD’s. In 2006 Jim Sheard and I co-authored The Master’s Grip , a devotional book published by J. Countryman, a division of Thomas Nelson Inc. Jim and I were also contributors to the Golfer’s Bible published by B & H Publishing.

BACKGROUND

I am born and raised in Ripon, WI. I have been married to my lovely wife Leslie for 20 years on May 27, 2015. We currently live in the Nashville, TN area with our amazing son, Micah.
