S. Maxima

I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. Bed Stuy where dreams go to die they say. As a young child dealing with losing my mother at tender age of fourteen writing was my outlet. I was never loud like most Brooklyn girls. I found my voice through my pen. Writing was the way I survived the cold nights trying to figure out what was meant to be. Taking my dreams and putting them on paper. I moved to Pocono Mountain PA and up there all I could do was write. I poured my heart out on the paper. The pen and paper was my best friend and always there for me when no one else was. I went to school for accounting but writing is my life. I have four kids and a hubby who give me a ton to write about. I write to send a message to my readers. I write with a purpose. Most Urban books are about hood life but I write Urban Contemporary so life outside the hood. Something beyond the bill buildings and congested life. I was first published in 2014 and released my first book. Next year big things are coming!
