Christopher Markland

From a young age, Christopher Markland has always had a love for reading. After many years of tossing around different ideas for a novel, he finally decided to follow his passion and jump into the world of contemporary African-American fiction with his debut novel, ‘Desperately Seeking Exclusivity’.

Born in Clarendon, Jamaica, Christopher moved to the United States to Albany, Ga at the age of 10. He moved to Decatur, Ga where he graduated from Columbia High School. After graduating, he served in the US Army. After leaving the service, moved back home and earned his commercial driver’s license.

Christopher currently lives in the metro Atlanta area with his family where he is currently working on his next book.
