Eileen Kennedy

Eileen P. Kennedy has been writing fervidly since she was eight years old. Her publications include poetry, nonfiction, fiction, children’s stories, and an academic book. Her new book Dread and Splendor: Paintings and Poems for a New Earth, will be out from Shanti Arts soon. Her collection of poems, Touch My Head Softly (Finishing Line Press) was a finalist for the International Book Awards. Her Banshees (Flutter Press) was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and received Second Prize in the Wordwrite Book Awards. She lives in Amherst, MA.
