Ray Sostre

New York born, east coast raised, and west coast bound. Since the early 1990s, Ray has been fascinated with writing, but much of his fascination came from movies, arts, and the adult industry. He was intrigued by reading dirty stories from pornographic publications, and then came a TV show he grew up loving, which sparked his muse to write stories in that kind of flare – Melrose Place, but while he was fascinated with the show’s plot, Ray had stopped writing for a while to pursue another passion in his life – music – the night club scene. It was then when he picked up a couple of turntables and worked the night scene, where he loved watching a playground of fun, sex, and drama.

After leaving the club scene, Ray moved to Nevada to start a new life, but over the next few years, Ray felt there was a void in his life, but he didn’t think writing would be the only thing to keep his sanity. He was away from family, his city roots, and living in the middle of the desert with people of a different culture. It was then, when he re-discovered writing, but not just writing anything – erotica. Though, when he got into the genre, it was by accident; he didn’t know how much he would enjoy it.

While the erotic industry was filled with cliché erotic romance, with only limited erotic scenes in their stories and lots of fluff, Ray felt he needed to get in there and get straight to the point with his stories; turn his readers on, while making them laugh or relate. He’s not into the alpha-male characters, like in some of the books read by other authors, but what is wrong about female characters who are confident and emancipated, with issues in their life, and the men who are intrigued by them?
