A third-generation street cop, Dr. John Hill served 20 years as a Police Officer in New Jersey, and then 20 years as a College Professor in Utah (now Emeritus).
He has earned the following degrees; Doctor of Education with a Criminal Justice specialization (Ed.D., 2007), Doctor of Criminal Justice (D.C.J., 2001), Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, (M.S., 1993), a second Master’s Degree in Psychology (M.A., 2001). Also, three undergraduate degrees, and two certificates in Highland Bagpiping.
Hill has published dozens of articles in various criminal justice publications, including the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, and the annual Journal of the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts, & Letters.
