Laura Stone

Laura Stone is a born and bred Texan, but don't hold that against her. She's a former comedian, actress and Master Gardener, and currently works in publishing as support for prescriptive nonfiction authors. Her first novel, THE BONES OF YOU, was a 2014 Book of the Year finalist, as well as long-listed for a Lambda Literary award. Her second novel, BITTER SPRINGS, is listed as a Highly Recommended Book by the American Library Association. Her third, AND IT CAME TO PASS, explores themes of coming out while serving a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints mission, and the fallout inherent.

Laura, a queer woman, centers her stories around LGBT protagonists. She lives in Texas because that's where the good tamales are.
