I usually tell people that I'm a committed amateur photographer but in truth I'm an amateur that probably should BE committed! Started shooting at age 13, taught by my father to develop and print in a home darkroom. Some would be amazed at how long I've been 'at' this pursuit with not much to show - but my photography rarely has been about the beautiful picture. I love ironic photos or photos of familiar items shot from a new perspective.
