Ramachandran A

45 plus years of teaching probability, statistics, operations research, numerical methods to graduate and post-graduate students in different colleges and Universities in India.

I hold a basic degree in Statistics and did my p.g and M.Phil in Statistics from the University of Madras, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

The teaching methodology is more of questions and answers with real life examples. So the books I write will also have a similar approach.

More interested in explaining basic terms and giving new insight to concepts, explanations which are not ordinarily found in other text-books.

To cite a few, you can read my book 'Probability - An introduction ' and get a new insight to the basic question 'what is probability?'

The book 'Mathematics of Probability' likewise explains the terms risk, odds, chance and how to distinguish between these words with real life examples.
