Duda Teixeira

Eduardo (Duda) Teixeira is the International Desk editor at Crusoé magazine, in Brazil

Previous to it, he worked for twelve years at Veja, the biggest weekly news magazine in Brazil and Latin America.

He covers politics, economy and lifestyle worldwide. Duda has traveled to and written captivating articles from Iraq, Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Portugal and almost all countries in Latin America. 

Duda has written four books. In 2011, he wrote, with Leandro Narloch, Guia Politicamente Incorreto da América Latina (A Politically Incorrect Guide to Latin America), with 200 000 copies sold. Before this, he published O Calcanhar de Aquiles (Achille's Heel), about Ancient Greece. He also wrote Buenos Aires: A Secret Guide and 100 Dúvidas Universais. He also translated George Orwell's Homage to Catalonia into Portuguese.

He lives in São Paulo, Brazil, and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.
