Phil M. Berger

Phil M. Berger is an author of science fiction, primarily in the young adult and middle grade categories. His fascination with science fiction can best be traced back to coming across a copy of Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles at a young age. Naturally, after that, there was no turning back. In recent years, he's set out to write more of the types of stories he would have loved to come across as a kid. After publishing some short fiction in several magazines, he took to writing books. February 2015 marks the release of his debut novel, The Solanders.

Phil received a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Miami and a master's in computer science from the University of Florida, and has worked mainly in the software design industry.

He lives with his wife and two children in Florida.
