Len Spacek

Len Spacek has been a teacher and coach for over twenty-five years. Len writes YA sports stories so that athletes can see that sports can help them deal with the adversity they face in life. Len has taught language arts at the middle school and high school level. He has taught elementary PE for the past three years. Len has played and coached numerous sports, giving him an insider’s perspective on the nuances of each game. He has played competitively at the high school level in football, basketball, baseball, and track, and he competed at the collegiate level in football. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, his Master’s Degree from John Carroll University, and his MFA in Creative Writing from the Northeast Ohio MFA program. His first novel is The Final Play.
