Dave Witmer

Dave Witmer grew up in the rich farmland of Lancaster County, PA. After college, he worked in mental health, but turned to seminary and pastoral ministry. An entrepreneur by God's design, Dave restarted and founded several congregations, prayer fellowships and pastor networks. He helped launch a gourmet coffee shop and has coached business leaders.

Dave lives in Florida. He was blessed with 39 wonderful years of marriage to Carol, a first grade teacher and children's author, before her death from cancer. He is now blessed again in his marriage to Joy, a wonderful, loving woman. He enjoys two married daughters and their families with eight grandchildren. Dave's hobbies include photography, traveling, jazz and blues guitar, westerns and goofy 1950s sci-fi movies.

Dave's books include inspirational writing, the award-winning novel, Then Comes Evening, and his recent book, A Widower's Journey Through Grief.
