Dr. LA Askew

Dr. Lachaka Askew is a published Christian Author and published Photographer (Lachaka™), Health Scientist, & Minister. She is also published her first short-story fiction book, "Not-To-Boring Short Stories". She leads two global online ministries called "20 Second Intercessor" and "A Warm Cup of Agape".

Her ministry experience ranges from mission work to board service, including serving as a Midwestern Section (States) Coordinator and Board Chaplain of American Baptist Women’s Ministries, Treasurer of Love INC of Cuyahoga County, Doctor of Ministry Graduate Honor Council and PAC committees, South University Conduct Committee, and on secular boards, such as the YMCA Parker Hannifin Advisory Board and Cleveland Triathlon Club.

For her work, Lachaka was selected as a South University’s Alumni Award Winner and Commencement Speaker and 2019 Who’s Who in Black Cleveland Honoree.
