Tom Marovich

Tom Marovich was born in 1947 and raised in northern Minnesota. He comes from a large family of eight brothers and seven sisters. They grew up on a small farm and produced most of their own meat and produce.

Tom worked in a logging camp and sawmill and also worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for several years.

He moved to northwest Arkansas in 1984 and opened a small café in West Fork that eventually turned into a second-hand store. From there, he started a home repair business which he later retired from. Today he has a small hobby wood shop to “keep him busy.”

The author hopes that this story will open many hearts and make more people realize how precious our children and animal friends really are.
