He has led safety initiatives across diverse industries—ranging from energy and infrastructure to inspections and utilities—bringing global best practices to life in complex, high-risk environments.

Iqbal is widely known for his expertise in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) and the integration of Human Factors into safety management systems. He has successfully designed and implemented safety programs that have transformed organizational culture, improved performance, and reduced incidents. His work spans boardroom-level strategic alignment to on-the-ground engagement with frontline workers—bridging the gap between policy and practice with clarity and impact.

His debut book, Behavior-Based Safety with Human Factors: A Practical Guide to Integrating Human Factors for Safer Workplaces, is a culmination of decades of experience.
