Roger Quinn

Roger Quinn, a retired teacher and counselor, is a published author and developmental editor. Roger published articles to help children deal with life-threatening illness and teenage suicide prevention. An active community member, he pursues his love for music, writing and travel. Roger and his wife, Barbara, reside in North Myrtle Beach, SC. His books can be found online or ordered through bookstores.

Roger’s novels are character-driven. “The Trinity Series” follows the mission of US military units to capture ranking Nazi scientists, sanitize their dossiers, and place them within the US military-industrial community, beyond the reach of the Nuremberg Trials.

“The Deepmarsh Mystery Series” takes readers on a journey from the conception of an HOA golf course community through the daunting challenges to maintain life in paradise on the banks of The Great River in southwest South Carolina.

Life in paradise demands vigilance: From the housing boom through the financial market instability to present day, where short-term rentals are threatening the village's way of life. From rowdy weekend bachelor parties to contraband pets destroying homeowner properties, short-term rentals are perfect fodder for the gossip of Deepmarsh Village.

“The Deepmarsh Mystery Series” underscores the need to examine critical issues confronting municipalities and their residential communities. The fragile balance between land development and infrastructure demands protecting South Carolina’s precious cultural heritage, rivers, and woodlands.

“Turn Your Life Into A Novel” is a motivational guide to establishing a writing routine.
