Charles Lee Irons

Charles Lee Irons is a New Testament scholar with a focus on the letters and theology of Paul. He completed his Ph.D. at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California under Donald Hagner and Seyoon Kim. Prior to that he studied with Meredith G. Kline at Westminster Seminary California. His undergraduate work was in classical Greek at UCLA. He identifies with the substance of the Old Princeton theology of Charles Hodge and the biblical theology of Geerhardus Vos. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three kids. Currently he is a senior research administrator at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. He serves as a ruling elder at New Life Burbank, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America.
