Greg Seymour

Greg Seymour is a quitter.

At the young age of 38 Greg and his wife determined that enough was enough. They began formulating a plan that would move them away from the excesses of life in North America and towards a simplified life in Central America.

At 41 Greg left the career he had spent 22 years building in the Litigation Support industry to become (as he calls it) Intentionally Unemployed. He and his wife Jen moved to the Central Valley of Costa Rica. He now has the time to pursue interests that were put on the back burner during his working life: photography, hiking, and writing.

After almost four years in Central America the couple is back in the U.S. and on September 16, 2017 they summited Mount Katahdin in Maine completing a 2189.8 mile thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail that started on March 22, 2017 and traversed through 14 states.

Greg is currently spending the winter writing about his experience on the AT.
