Peg Cleary-Osborne

Peg Cleary-Osborne was always interested in the arts; she won several art awards, taught dancing, planned and choreographed dance recitals, and was a draftsman at a major steel industry before she married and raised a family.

However, her writing background was limited to writing an English thesis that enabled her to pass her senior year in high school. Peg never considered writing for the public.

One day she was sharing stories with a friend that involved various episodes she and her family experienced while living four years on a farm in the early 70's. When she told her friend some of the humorous as well as some of the harrowing encounters regarding not knowing a thing about farming and living in a century old farmhouse that rested on 110 acres of land, her friend suggested she should write a book about it.

The following week Peg thought more seriously about her friend's suggestion. She previously wrote a successful cookbook "Rush Hour Recipes of America", and she knew the various requirements to have a book self-published, so she decided, "Why not?" And so it began, writing became another interest in Peg Cleary-Osborne's life.

Peg is presently revising her cookbook and is planning to write 2 more books in different genres.
