Eleanor Lynn Nesmith

A Carolina native who now calls the Florida Panhandle home, Lynn Nesmith spent her childhood summers along the Atlantic in Sunset Beach and graduated from the University of North Carolina. Lynn started her career with ARCHITECTURE in Washington, D.C., and later moved to Birmingham to serve as architecture editor of Southern Living. Over the years, her words have appeared in Better Homes & Gardens, The Washington Post, Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Architectural Record, and The New York Times. Lynn currently produces, styles and writes for Cottage Style, Decor, Elegant Homes, Coastal Living, and Traditional Home. Lynn is the author of 30A Living, 30A Style, Seaside Style, Instant Architecture and Tracery: The Art of Southern Design. Lynn lives in Seagrove and writes from an office perched in a third-story office tower with a glimpse of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
