Aaron A. Thomas is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) specializing in political theory and Italian studies. He a freelance Italian translator and has translated works by Cesare Beccaria and Remo Bodei.
He is currently editing and translating an anthology of Norberto Bobbio’s essays to be published by the University of Toronto Press, tentatively entitled "In the Labyrinth of Politics: Essays on Democracy, Human Rights, and the Law."
Aaron’s teaching experience and research interests include political theory, sociology, legal theory, and Italian culture and history. He was a Fulbright Scholar based in Bologna, Italy, and currently serves on the Editorial Board of Teoria Politica, a journal of political theory based in Turin, Italy.
