Isis Estrada

Isis Estrada is a writer, psychologist, and educator. Her career combines literary sensibility, the study of the human experience, and an exploration of mysticism and alternative therapies. Born in Mexico, she began her literary journey in 1982—during her adolescence—by writing a weekly poetry column for a local newspaper, a role she held until 1991. In 1996, she received the Many Voices Award from the Playwrights’ Center in the United States, recognizing her work as an emerging playwright. Alongside her literary pursuits, she works as an author and educator in the fields of alternative therapies and mysticism. Her books and courses, which have been translated into several languages, offer readers and students pathways to learning, reflection, and self-discovery.

Her academic background includes, among others:

Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antonio de Nebrija University (Spain).

Master’s degree in Naturopathy, specializing in Herbal Medicine and Nutrition, from the Escuela Superior Iberoamericana (Spain).

Across these various facets of her life, writing serves as the unifying thread of her vocation: sharing knowledge, making space for the imagination, and exploring mysticism and spirituality.
