Jodi Dunn

Jodi is very passionate about what she writes. She enrolled at Long Ridge correspondence school for writing in 2000. Her accomplishments include; an article in a magazine "The Endless Bumpy Road Across My Face" ( 2002), which she shares her struggle with a rare skin disease she's had since she was 7 years old and in recent years has turned in to cancer. Her first book, "Face to Face" (2003),is a memoir of meeting her birthmother and the emotional journey she stumbled through. Her second book, "Animal Tales and Alphabet Colors" (2004), is a children's book with a collection of 4 short stories. Her newest book, "Letting Heaven In" (2015)she recites her own painful memories as she is driven to spread hope in the existence of the afterlife.

Jodi is married with three daughters and enjoys her three grandchildren. She is an Iowa native and resides in North Liberty, where she is works as a medical assistant in a Podiatry office.

In past years her family owned and operated a local campground which was a highlight in her life because she met so many interesting people, which also included some wild times with escapees, the FBI and witnessed several love triangles. Most of her employment surrounds the restaurant industry; from waitressing to being restaurant manager.

She likes to go fishing, talking, spending time with family and friends, going for walks, and playing games. She also loves to cook, especially big meals for family gatherings or for no reason at all. Just to cook.
