Deborah Sweeney

Deborah Sweeney is a genealogist, author and blogger. Since 2012, she has transcribed and shared over 1,300 letters written by her grandparents during World War II on her website. In addition to this project, she has written many articles about genealogy, DNA research, and historical fashion. She is the author of three books: Alfred M. Dicks of Crawford County, Illinois; Dear Mother, Love Daddy; and Lots of Love, Daddy. She appears on the web-based show Discovering Your Past as a consulting genealogist. Deborah is a graduate of Boston University's Genealogical Research Certificate Program and the ProGen Genealogy Study Group. She lives in Northern California with her family.
