John Youden

Originally from Northern Canada, John Youden moved to Mexico in his late twenties, where he established a publishing company focusing on specialty magazines (destination, lifestyle, travel, boating, and real estate) and a brand and marketing group for small boutique hotels in Mexico.

Semi-retired today, he spends his time with his wife between their homes in Nice, France, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. His interests are varied: musician, yoga practitioner, photographer, surfer, and sailor. He has sailed extensively through the Sea of Cortez, Caribbean, and Mediterranean and enjoys traveling, most recently exploring Europe with his French wife, Florence.

He also has enjoyed exploring the inner aspects of mind and consciousness, through personal practice and years of studying philosophy and psychology. John is autodidactic, what he has learned coming from a lifetime of reading and exploring the works of “mapmakers" who broke a trail before him.
