Like many women of a certain age, I've worn more hats than I can count, including mother, grandmother, writer, artist, traveler, ex-buddhist nun, photographer, seeker. In my latest book, "Every Buddha, Same Price," I follow my misadventures in two Zen monasteries, one in California and one in France. All this took place 25 years ago! It took me that long to do it right! "Spiritual Travel" is a good way to describe the genre of this effort. If you're looking for a pious book about Buddhist practice, or a list of lessons learned and sober advice, I advise you to look elsewhere!
