Anil B. Bhatt

Anil B. Bhatt immigrated to the U.S. in 1980 and has pursued an accounting career since then. His diversified experience in public accounting and the events of 2008 economic crisis inspired him to write a book- Recovering from the recovery a recipe for survival...changing our behavior to avoid future crises, which narrates the underlying causes of crises and how must we behave and make changes in our attitudes and lifestyle to achieve sustainability.

We are in a debate about our shortcomings throughout human history not just the current crisis because if we did not change our behavior we will be multiplying the problems we have created, by fighting among ourselves, corrupting our societies and polluting the nature, leaving a bleak prospect for the future. The news stories of penalties arising from failures of the crisis are flooding the papers almost 7 years after the crisis tells that we are far from the real recovery and efforts must continue to both cleaning our acts and promoting good behavior.

Besides reading mostly biographies and non-fiction(exceptions-John Grisham's mysteries and Earl Stanley Gardner's Perry Mason court room dramas) and occasional writing, Mr. Bhatt loves travelling, tennis, painting, and singing to recharge himself.
