Jessica Wallace McBride

Dr. Jessica K. Wallace is from Daytona Beach, Florida, and has an extensive background in education. She is a graduate of Florida State University and Florida A&M University, where she earned a bachelor's degree and advanced degrees, respectively. During her tenure in education, Dr. Jessica was voted Teacher of the Year in two Florida counties, and later won several awards for excellence in her field. Dr. Jessica also co-founded the Imani Dance Program for Youth Development, Inc., a non-profit organization that teaches cultural self-esteem through the performing arts and deters adolescents from crime and early parenthood. She is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class 27. She co-hosted a radio show, "The Sister Perspective," for five years, and worked on the Oprah Winfrey 2020 Vision Tour, the largest wellness tour in history. Dr. Jessica presented a TEDx Talk in 2019 and began serving on the TEDxSavannah organizing board. She was elected as Vice President in 2024.

After years of editing and proofreading books for indie authors and publishing companies, Dr. Jessica co-authored her first book, "Oliver Vance, Pull Up Your Pants!" She wrote her second book, "Almost a Statistic," and published it through her own company, Millennium International Publishing Group, LLC. Currently, Dr. Jessica offers publishing services to other authors and writing workshops for children and teens.

Dr. Jessica loves reading across genres and enjoys children's books, young adult literature, and adult literature by culturally diverse authors.
