Julie Ward

Julie Ward, born in Burbank, California, was a child actress until she moved to Minnesota as a youngster. She has had a passion for the written word ever since she could pick up a book. The story of The Smelly Hero was born from a dream Julie and her mom had of creating books together that would deliver valuable messages in a fun format.

Julie Ward currently lives in the Sunshine State of Florida.

Joan Paar lives in Wisconsin, where she creates the artwork for the Happy Flower Island Series.
