S. Campbell Williams

S. Campbell Williams, also writing under the name Summer-Sage, is a storyteller whose work bridges generations, genres, and imaginations. Based in Georgia, she draws inspiration from both her academic background and her lifelong passion for the arts. With a Master’s Degree in Health & Healing, she has created educational curricula for youth programs ranging from snapping turtle research with National Geographic to wooden boatbuilding, drumming workshops, and therapeutic group programs in mental health. Her work reflects a deep commitment to nurturing creativity, resilience, and connection in young people.

As an artist, dancer, singer, and craftswoman, Williams infuses her stories with rhythm, color, and heart. She began writing poetry and songs as a teenager, and it was during those years that the seeds of her Legacy Family Saga were planted. Her debut, The Summer of Tsunami, explores the challenges and beauty of interracial relationships, inspired by her own multigenerational family history. The saga continued with The Flowers of May and The Fall of Margaret, each narrated as part of a generational tale passed down to a young girl discovering the story of her family.

In addition to her novels, Williams brings joy and wisdom to children’s literature. Writing as both S. Campbell Williams and Summer-Sage, she has authored a variety of children’s books—some designed to teach lessons about nutrition, health, and friendship, and others created purely for the magic of nonsense and fun.

Whether crafting meaningful family sagas or whimsical children’s adventures, Williams’s storytelling is united by one purpose: to spark imagination and leave readers—young and old alike—with a sense of wonder and belonging.
