Donna Simmons

Donna Simmons, a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and McIntosh College, is a retired accountant, educator, and writer. She is a member of the Mainely Driftwood Writers Group, The Academy of American Poets, and past president of the Seacoast Writers Association.

Donna's newest novel, Restitution - A Story of Faith & Redemption, is now available on Amazon.com. Also available on Amazon.com are her novels, Mourning Dove and Homeless, both as e-novels and in paperback. She has also recently published a collection of personal essays, Peace Be With You - Growing In Faith Through the Ups & Downs of Life.

Donna also published a memoir: A Fork in The Road: My Story of Suicide and Survival [Trafford, 2005] and contributed a collection of short pieces and poetry to an anthology: Mainely Driftwood [Trafford, 2004] and to SIMUL: Lutheran Voices in Poetry [Xulon Press, 2007]. She also contributes personal essays to The Crier, a monthly Lutheran newsletter. She lives in Southern Maine with her husband and her dog named Bear.
