Tim L. Williams

Tim L Williams is a native of Muhlenberg County in Kentucky's western coalfields. After a misspent youth reading crime novels, failing to learn to play Hendrix-like guitar and roaming deserted surface mines and back roads with his friends, he completed his graduate degree and went on to teach at both Murray State University and Madisonville Community College. His short fiction has won the International Thriller Award, garnered an Edgar nomination and twice been selected for Otto Penzler's Best American Mystery Stories series. In March 2015, his story collection, Skull Fragments, will be released by New Pulp Press. After years of moving around the middle part of the country, he and has family have returned home.
