After graduation summa cum laude from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, Dr de Vos has worked in Belgium and the Netherlands before moving to the United Kingdom in 2004. After completing his higher medical training in Haematology and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists he worked as a Haemato-Oncology consultant at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, United Kingdom, before moving to the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, UK. With a broad interest in all aspects of haematology he is truly 'malignant' at heart. A true clinician Dr de Vos spends almost all his time at the bedside talking to and treating his patients. As a keen teacher he is keen to inspire and pass on in all his junior doctors and students a small part of what inspired him as a student about the incredible world of haematology.
