Simon Hartwell

Simon Hartwell was born in Huntingdon, England, in 1965. A lifelong lover of books, his journey into writing began later in life—after stepping away from the fast-paced world of finance in 2013. By early 2014, he began writing in earnest, and in January 2015, he published his debut novel, Quentin James and the Undercover Agent.

What started as a creative outlet quickly became an exhilarating passion. For Simon, storytelling is a thrilling ride—one where characters often take the lead, surprising even him with their twists and turns. Many chapters have come to life in the quiet hours of night, when inspiration struck and sleep could wait.

Since that first release, Simon has gone on to publish many more novels, and eventually ventured into the world of screenwriting.
