Darrell P. Arnold is editor of Traditions of Systems Theory (Routlege, 2013), and, co-editor, together with Andreas Michel, of Critical Theory and the Thought of Andrew Feenberg (Palgrave MacMillan, 2017). With Ilan Safit, he co-edited Essays on Humanity and Technology (HTA supplementary publication, 2015). Among his numerous translations from German are Mathias Vogel's Media of Reason (Columbia UP, 2012) and Chrys Mantzavinos' Naturalistic Hermeneutics (Cambridge UP, 2006). From 2014 to 2019 Darrell was president of the Humanities and Technology Association (HTA), and from 2012 to 2014 he was editor of the HTA's journal, the Humanities and Technology Review. Darrell is presently a full-time faculty member in Arts and Philosophy at Miami Dade College. Previous to taking this position, he was a professor of philosophy at St. Thomas University, where he also served as Interim Dean in 2015-16. Darrell is also a performing singer-songwriter and has recently published Portraits of the Blues (Sisyphus Publishing) along with a CD by the same name (Arco Records).
