MONIC THORNTON

Monic Thornton, is a #1 Best Selling Author, Entrepreneur, and Global Inspirational Leader on living well with Lupus. Monic was diagnosed with lupus in 1994 and vows to share with the masses on how she continues to defeat lupus each day.

Thornton is an active fundraising volunteer with the Atlanta Lupus Foundation and participates in alternative medical treatment research initiatives with industry leading doctors and pharmaceutical companies focused on finding a cure for the incurable lupus disease.

Monic was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. After facing several near death experiences due to fierce winter weather conditions in New York/New Jersey causing complications with lupus, Thornton moved and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Anthony and four children Toni, Kierah, Christopher, and Zachary.

Monic's colloquial speech reflects on the power of the mind and faith that led her to overcome critical obstacles in life with one being lupus. For many years people would always question the fact if lupus even existed in her body by the way she looks and her graceful spirit. Doctors are amazed at her test results and she continues to beat all odds battling this disease.

Monic is currently expanding her entrepreneurial skills into screenwriting in hopes of a future television or movie production.
