Dr. Joanie B. Connell is an organizational consultant and coach who specializes in maximizing leadership and personal potential. She works with companies to attract, develop, and retain top talent. She works with individuals to improve their success and happiness in their careers.
A former engineer, Joanie specializes in helping technical leaders develop people strategies to better manage their teams and build stronger relationships across functions and organizations. She hosts a podcast on the subject called Reinventing Nerds.
She is the author of two books, (1) Flying without a Helicopter: How to Prepare Young People for Work and Life and (2) Consulting to Technical Leaders, Teams, and Organizations: Building Leadership in STEM Environments.
Joanie earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Engineering from Harvard University.
