Bulent Senocak

Bülent Şenocak is an İzmir-born author and researcher dedicated to exploring the city’s cultural and historical identity. He graduated from Istanbul University and later studied history at Anadolu University. His works combine narrative history and reflection, including Izmir: Star of the Levant, The Humanised God, Shattered Dreams, Blood Libel, and Sadıkbey – If the Mansions Could Speak. He is also the founder of the İzmir Culture and History Platform (İKTAP). Şenocak writes in English, French, and Turkish, and lives in İzmir with his wife.
