Ita Ryan

I was born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in Dublin, Kerry and Brussels. Soon after I graduated from university as a philosopher, I discovered that my life-long interest in logic and computers was potentially lucrative. I've worked as a programming gun for hire ever since.

When Ben and I started a family we moved from London to my family home in Kerry. We've lived there since 2007, growing raspberries (easy), strawberries (surprisingly difficult) and children.

In the intervals between programming C++/C#, baking strawberry and rhubarb pie and swimming I wrote a novel, 'IT Can Be Dangerous'. I'm currently working on a second book, provisionally titled 'Second Novel'.
