I started out as a "techie writer" for Computer Shopper and PC Magazine and then, when the Web came along, went along for the catastrophic ride documented in Netslaves, Mc-Graw Hill, 1998 (with Bill Lessard). In 2006, I co-wrote, with Kevin Lee, "The Eyes Have It," a book about the transformation of advertising. I began tracking the wild monk parakeets of Brooklyn and the result is an e-book, "The Brooklyn Parrots FAQ," published through Amazon in January, 2015.
